Product Overview

The Chase Tactical LVPCE (Low Visibility Plate Carrier ELITE) was developed in direct response to operator feedback requesting improvements to the original LVPC while incorporating features from the Chase Tactical SOCC Plate Carrier. The result is a low-profile carrier that preserves everything operators valued in the original LVPC — the slick exterior, elastic cummerbund with internal pouches, and vertical clip placard system — while upgrading the interior wear experience with moisture-wicking spacer mesh on both the front and rear inner surfaces.

Spacer mesh is a three-dimensional fabric structure that creates a ventilated air gap between the armor panel and the operator's body. Unlike flat woven linings that trap heat against the skin, spacer mesh allows convective air circulation to dissipate body heat and wick moisture away from the torso during prolonged wear. For operators conducting extended missions, vehicle operations, or working in warm environments, this thermal management improvement directly affects wear comfort and sustained operational effectiveness.

At approximately 1.25 lbs, the LVPCE is among the lightest functional plate carriers in the Chase Tactical lineup, making it particularly well-suited for high-mobility roles — reconnaissance, undercover operations, rapid-deployment teams — where minimizing carried mass is operationally critical. Despite the minimal weight, the carrier maintains its core low-visibility capability: without front-panel MOLLE rows protruding from the surface, the LVPCE can be worn under a jacket or outer garment to maintain a civilian or plainclothes appearance.

LVPCE vs LVPC: Key Differences

  • Spacer mesh interior (LVPCE only): moisture-wicking front and rear inner panels for improved thermal management
  • Lower weight: LVPCE at ~1.25 lbs vs. LVPC at ~2.5 lbs — approximately half the carrier weight
  • Multicam Black availability: LVPCE adds Multicam Black to the standard four colorways
  • SOCC-inspired design elements: refined from direct operator feedback on SOCC carrier features
  • Shoulder strap profile: LVPCE retains slim, unpadded shoulder straps for low-profile concealment

Internal Storage Architecture

The LVPCE cummerbund provides three internal pouches on each side, accessible from the lateral position. These pouches are sized for 30-round 5.56mm magazines (vertical), CoTCCC-recommended tourniquets in storage configuration, or slim handheld radios. Accessing essential life-safety equipment — including a tourniquet for hemorrhage control — from inside the carrier's own cummerbund means zero external profile cost for carrying these critical items.
