Product Overview
The D-BAG IFAK Pouch is a collaborative design between MED-TAC International Corp. and 6:8 Medical Solutions, built around the operator's first principle in trauma response: the tools you need most must be reached first, fastest. Unlike conventional IFAK pouches that require multiple steps to access, the D-BAG places tourniquets on the outside of the pouch — in dual elastic side holders — so a casualty's most critical intervention, hemorrhage control, is accessible without opening the main compartment.
The main compartment opens via rubberized pull handles designed for positive grip with wet or gloved hands. Inside, a laser-cut inner panel provides structured, low-profile organization using elastic loops and a shock-cord modular retention system across two storage levels. The main pouch accommodates two full-size emergency trauma dressings (or equivalents such as Hemguard), while two adjacent narrow slots fit items like flat gauze, surgical tape, Battle Wrap, NPA, and NDC. A diagonal slot pocket on the outer face provides instant access to gloves, shears, patient cards, and markers without opening the main bag.
The rear mounting system uses a proprietary rapid-release MOLLE connection — a deliberate improvement over multi-clip or heavy Velcro systems that add seconds under stress. A single clean detach removes the pouch from any MOLLE-compatible platform for immediate treatment.
