Does the MCI-TKD Bag come with medical supplies?
No. This listing is the bag only — sold empty. The spring-loaded gravity-feed compartment and side pockets are unfilled. For the fully kitted MCI Throw Kit Dispenser System with 8 individual bleeding control kits, 8 C-A-T® Tourniquets, 8 ETDs, 4 HyFin® Chest Seals, and a QuikLitter, see the MCI Throw Kit Dispenser System listing.
How does the spring-fed dispensing system work?
The MCI-TKD's main compartment contains a spring-loaded pressure plate. Individual bleeding control kits (vacuum sealed) are loaded into the compartment, and the spring maintains forward pressure on all kits. As each kit is removed through the top opening, the spring automatically advances the next kit — enabling the carrier to rapidly distribute kits sequentially while moving through an MCI scene without pausing to reach into the bag.
How many kits does the bag hold?
The main spring-fed compartment holds up to 8 individual vacuum-sealed bleeding control kits. Side pockets accommodate 8 C-A-T® Tourniquets (one pocket) and 8 NAR Responder ETDs (the other pocket). The front pocket organizes HyFin® Chest Seals, wound packing gauze, trauma shears, and a litter.
What is the bag color used for?
The Red variant (80-1521T) provides high-visibility identification for medical personnel in mass casualty environments, consistent with universal medical equipment color coding. The Black variant (80-1520T) offers tactical low-visibility identification appropriate for law enforcement and military MCI response where neutral-color equipment is preferred.
Can this bag be used with any individual bleeding control kits?
The bag is designed to work with NAR's vacuum-sealed individual bleeding control kits, which have consistent dimensions (H 7 in. × W 5 in. × D 2.75 in.) that fit the spring-fed compartment. Other vacuum-sealed kits of similar dimensions may also fit, but performance of the spring-feed system depends on consistent kit dimensions and packaging rigidity.
How many individual kits does the MCI Dispenser System Bag hold?
Verify the current capacity on the product page. The bag is designed to hold a defined number of individual throw kits — capacity is fixed by the bag's volume and the size of the individual kit packets.
What size individual kits are compatible with the Dispenser System Bag?
The bag is designed for NAR public access bleeding control kit packets. Verify kit-to-bag compatibility on the product page before loading non-standard individual kits.
Is the bag reusable after deployment?
Yes. The dispenser bag is a reusable carrier. Inspect for damage after each deployment and restock with fresh individual kits before restaging.
What is the NSN for the MCI Throw Kit Dispenser System Bag?

Does the empty bag have any mounting or carry capability?
Verify carry and mounting features on the product page. The bag is designed for hand carry and vehicle staging as a mobile dispenser platform.
