Celox Rapid uses activated Chito-R on a rapid-packing gauze strip that forms an adhesive gel on contact with blood, sealing the wound and resisting re-bleeding during casualty evacuation. Independent in-vivo testing has demonstrated strong hemostasis performance and blood-loss reduction compared to standard gauze. The product generates no exothermic heat on application — a patient-comfort and tissue-safety advantage over older-generation hemostatic agents.
