What is the MARCH™ color-coding system?

MARCH stands for Massive Hemorrhage, Airway, Respiration, Circulation, and Hypothermia — the five priorities of tactical combat casualty care. Safeguard Medical's color-coded system assigns a color to each category (Red: hemorrhage, Green: airway, Blue: respiration, Gray: circulation, Purple: head/hypothermia), with each component's packaging color-matched to its MARCH category for faster, less error-prone deployment under stress.

Is the TMT® Tourniquet in the MARCH Resupply CoTCCC-recommended?

Yes. The TMT® (Tactical Mechanical Tourniquet) by Safeguard Medical is CoTCCC-recommended for extremity hemorrhage control. It joins the C-A-T® and SOF-T-W as one of three windlass-style tourniquets on the CoTCCC recommended list.

What IFAK platform is the MARCH Resupply Set designed to refill?

The Safeguard MARCH Resupply Set is designed to restock the U.S. Army standard IFAK but is compatible with most commercial IFAK pouches of equivalent size. It replaces all expendable supplies following a deployment, providing a standardized one-SKU resupply solution for units maintaining IFAK inventories.

Is Celox Rapid CoTCCC-recommended?

Yes. Celox Rapid hemostatic gauze is CoTCCC-recommended for wound packing in life-threatening hemorrhage. It uses chitosan polymer technology to form a gel that seals bleeding even in hypothermic patients, which is particularly relevant in cold-weather operations.

Can the MARCH Resupply Set be used as a standalone kit?

Yes. While designed as a resupply for existing IFAKs, the Safeguard MARCH Resupply Set contains all components needed for complete trauma intervention and can be used as a standalone kit with an appropriately sized pouch. All components include quick reference cards.
