Product Overview
The TT IFAK Pouch Vertical occupies only 2 MOLLE columns — a significant advantage on plate carriers and vests where horizontal real estate is limited. At 9.5 cm wide × 20 cm tall, this pouch uses the vertical dimension instead, fitting neatly between and beside other pouches without displacing them. The 6.5 cm depth accommodates substantial supplies while the elastic side compression bands keep contents compressed against the body for a lower overall profile.
The opening system is particularly well designed. The panel that contains your medical supplies can be pulled upward or downward depending on how the pouch is mounted — useful when the pouch is near the bottom of a plate carrier versus high on a chest rig. The standard fixed hook-and-loop closure can be converted to a quick-release mechanism, giving users a choice between extra security and faster access depending on their preference. The front hook-and-loop surface holds a medical patch or blood type marker for rapid identification.
Tasmanian Tiger products are designed and manufactured in Germany by Tatonka GmbH for demanding professional users. CORDURA® 700 den provides an optimal balance between the weight of 500 den and the abrasion resistance of 1000 den — TT uses this fabric across their entire professional lineup for this reason. The Multicam variant uses 500 den to meet Crye Precision's material specifications for the pattern license.
