Product Overview
Chase Tactical built their single 5.56 mag pouch around a retention mechanism that improves with use rather than degrading: the Hypalon bungee system. Hypalon is a synthetic rubber compound with exceptional UV, chemical, and abrasion resistance — it maintains its elasticity and surface grip through thousands of retention cycles and years of field exposure. The bungee tab design allows the magazine to be drawn with a single swipe of the thumb rather than requiring a two-handed hook-and-loop release that interrupts the weapon-to-mag draw sequence. In drills, this difference is measurable in split times.
500D solution-dyed Cordura® is Chase Tactical's fabric choice for the pouch shell. Solution dyeing — in which color is embedded in the fiber during production rather than applied to the surface — means the color cannot fade, bleach, or transfer regardless of washing frequency, chemical exposure, or UV hours. The 500D weight is a deliberate balance: heavy enough to hold pouch shape under load without a stiffener insert, light enough to remain flexible and quiet during movement. Chase notes that the material "improves and softens with time and wear" — a characteristic of the specific Cordura weave they use.
Reverse stitching at all stress points addresses the most common failure mode of MOLLE pouches: thread separation at attachment and retention anchor points under repeated lateral load during movement. The lifetime limited warranty reflects Chase Tactical's confidence that material quality will outlast the use case. All materials are U.S. Mil-Spec sourced — Chase Tactical maintains domestic supply chain compliance for government and law enforcement contract procurement.
