Product Overview
The D-BAG IFAK Advanced represents MED-TAC International's collaboration with 6:8 Medical Solutions to create a battlefield medical bag built around the operator's reality: gloved hands, stress, and the need to find and deploy any item instantly. The laser-cut interior panel creates defined pockets for each component, while the shock cord retention system holds items securely in position even under the jarring conditions of a fast-moving patrol vehicle or helicopter insertion.
Two dedicated tourniquet holders on the exterior — each with dual elastic retainers — allow two C-A-T® tourniquets to be accessed without opening the bag. The Celox RAPID hemostatic gauze provides fast hemostasis for junctional and extremity wounds. The TPAK tension pneumothorax kit addresses the second leading cause of preventable combat death. The Russell Chest Seal covers open chest wounds, and the NPA airway handles the airway obstruction threat. Taken together, the contents address all five MARCH categories.
The Blizzard Blanket addresses hypothermia — often overlooked in combat trauma kits but responsible for a significant percentage of preventable trauma deaths through the lethal triad of coagulopathy, acidosis, and hypothermia. The D-BAG Advanced is a step-up from the Basic (previously covered in Batch 1) with a more comprehensive supply list.
