Product Overview
The First Tactical Large Jump Bag approaches EMS bag design from a reliability-first perspective. The outside is intentionally simple: all exterior pockets have been removed to eliminate the snag points and zipper failures that plagued traditional jump bag designs over years of service. What remains is a clean, durable shell that takes abuse without degradation.
The 45° slanted box opening is the defining usability feature: when unzipped, the entire 22" × 12" interior is visible and accessible simultaneously—nothing is buried at the bottom where providers can't see it. The light-colored interior enhances visibility of even the deepest contents without additional lighting, which matters on nighttime calls and in dim vehicle bays. The full hook-and-loop interior lining gives providers complete freedom to attach and position Velcro-backed pouches anywhere on the interior walls and base—creating a fully customizable equipment layout that stays where it's placed during transport.
The 2" deep HD TPU bottom molding provides structural rigidity that prevents the bag from collapsing under heavy loads, maintains shape when set down, and protects the base from repeated contact with vehicle compartment floors and outdoor surfaces. A front Velcro panel accepts department logos or identification patches, and a permanent DotTac ID provides traceability across deployments. Optional colored specialty pouches (sold separately) and the Jump Pack Harness allow the bag to be configured for specific ALS, BLS, or oxygen response roles.
Customizable Hook-and-Loop Interior
The full Velcro lining means every MOLLE pouch or Velcro-backed medical module can be mounted to any interior surface—base, walls, or lid. This eliminates the fixed-pocket constraints of traditional bags and allows agencies to configure the same bag differently for different response types without purchasing additional bags. Pouches for trauma, airway, and medications can be arrayed by the individual provider's workflow preference.
