The Mojo® Pocket Bleeder Kit – BASIC strips the concept down to a single, high-quality tool in a concealable package. The SWAT-T™ (Stretch-Wrap-And-Tuck Tourniquet) is a 56-inch polyisoprene elastic band that functions as both a tourniquet and a multi-purpose emergency tool. Application instructions are printed directly on the device — when stretched, printed ovals become circles and diamonds become squares, providing a visual confirmation that correct tourniquet pressure is being applied. Application requires no mechanical components to fail: stretch, wrap from proximal to distal, and tuck the end.
Beyond tourniquet function, the SWAT-T can be used as a pressure bandage over packed wounds, a sling securement strap, a splint-holding wrap, or as a tourniquet for smaller pediatric or canine limbs where windlass devices are difficult to apply. Application — STRETCH, WRAP, and TUCK
- Open the vacuum-sealed pouch and remove the SWAT-T.
- STRETCH — apply the SWAT-T 2–3 inches above the wound on the extremity; begin stretching until printed ovals become circles (lighter pressure bandage mode) or diamonds become squares (full tourniquet pressure).
- WRAP — continue wrapping firmly from proximal toward distal, maintaining stretch and overlapping each pass by approximately 50%.
- TUCK — tuck the end of the SWAT-T under the last wrap to secure. Note the time of application.
