Product Overview
The SAVe II and SAVe II+ simplified automated ventilators deliver room-air ventilation by default. When a patient requires supplemental oxygen — as is the case in the vast majority of serious medical and trauma emergencies — the oxygen reservoir must be connected to the ventilator's air intake port to enable oxygen titration. The Oxygen Reservoir Tube (SKU F20072-10) is the OEM-specified reservoir for the SAVe II/II+ and is the component that enables this capability.
The reservoir is reusable and sold in a box of 10, sized to match the 10-patient configuration of the SAVe II+ Starter Bundle. For EMS agencies, hospital systems, and emergency management organizations maintaining a SAVe II+ ventilator inventory, procuring reservoirs in the 10-unit box format aligns resupply quantities with clinical deployment units and simplifies inventory management.
Installation is straightforward: the reservoir fits over the air intake port on the ventilator body. When connected to an external oxygen source (E-cylinder, concentrator, or soft-pack oxygen system), the reservoir enables the delivery of oxygen-enriched inspiratory gas to the patient. When supplemental oxygen is not in use, the reservoir can be removed and either the HME filter or noise attenuator can be connected to the same port.
