The North American Rescue Quick-Detach Panel addresses one of the most critical tactical medical challenges: how do you give someone else — or a non-medical bystander — rapid access to your IFAK while you're incapacitated? The answer is rip-away access. The QD Panel allows any standard MOLLE/PALS-equipped medic pouch or IFAK to be torn free in a single motion, eliminating the need to understand MOLLE lacing or locate latches under stress.
Under normal conditions, mil-spec hook-and-loop backed by heavy-duty metal snaps provides secure, positive retention on any MOLLE vest, plate carrier, pack, or belt. The combination retention system prevents accidental release from brush contact, vehicle egress, or tactical movement. When emergency access is needed, the entire panel rips free with its attached pouch in a single pull — the metal snaps release under purposeful force but not incidental snagging.
Three sizes accommodate the full range of NAR IFAKs and compatible pouches. The 3"×6" (small) is designed for NAR's most compact M-FAK kits and uses only 3×2 MOLLE columns. The 9"×6.5" (large) accommodates larger medic pouches and provides 5.6 oz weight to the platform. All sizes are available in Black and Coyote Tan for operational color matching.
