Product Overview
The Rapid Access MEDMAG Pouch addresses the MOLLE real estate problem that every tactical operator carrying both rifles and trauma gear faces: every additional pouch requires additional vest space, and vest space is finite. The RAP's solution is nesting — the medical insert lives inside the same pouch as three rifle magazines, stacked in a flat-packed configuration that presents no greater external profile than a standard triple magazine pouch. The precious vest space that would have been consumed by a separate IFAK or blood kit is retained for other equipment.
The quick-pull access mechanism is engineered for the most adverse dexterity conditions: extreme cold weather mittens, Arctic-weight gloves, or heavy tactical gloves. The pull tabs are sized and positioned for grab-and-pull access without requiring finger dexterity or precision grip. The medical insert inside the pouch is designed on a leg-strap-compatible insert that can be detached from the pouch and strapped directly to the leg after extraction — positioning medical supplies on the operator's body at the point where they will be used rather than remaining attached to a vest that may need to be removed.
The detachable Rapid Access Tourniquet pouch adds a third functional layer: a MOLLE-attached sub-pouch that holds one Tactical Mechanical Tourniquet (TMT) and a TQ Ram for immediate extremity hemorrhage control access. The tourniquet sub-pouch attaches via MOLLE weave backing and can be positioned independently from the main MEDMAG pouch if preferred. For operators staging on a battle belt rather than a plate carrier, the MOLLE-backed main pouch and detachable tourniquet pouch give the same functionality in a belt-compatible format.
