The TacMed™ Foxtrot® Litter addresses the fundamental problem of casualty evacuation in the real world: conventional litters are too large, too heavy, and too slow to deploy for the environments where casualties most commonly occur — aircraft, buses, trains, stairwells, hallways, and narrow combat or emergency corridors. The Foxtrot was designed from first principles to solve these constraints while maintaining a full-size evacuation platform capable of supporting casualties of any weight up to 400 lb.

The poleless design is key. Without rigid poles, the Foxtrot can flex around corners, be sat upright to negotiate tight stairwell turns, and be dragged by a single operator along the floor without requiring the coordinated effort of a four-person carry team. A rapid deployment drag line is pre-rigged to the litter — meaning the rescuer can grab, go, and drag without stopping to rig equipment. This single design feature reduces time-to-movement in active threat scenarios where every second of exposure increases rescuer risk.

The litter's multiple grab points enable any team size — from a single medic performing a one-person drag to a full four-person carry — to use the litter effectively. Quick-secure straps hold the casualty in position while remaining accessible for reassessment and continued treatment during movement.
