The BurnTec® MINOR Burn Dressing Kit represents the entry-level configuration of NAR's BurnTec® burn care system. Rather than stocking the full 11-dressing kit, the MINOR kit provides the three most clinically versatile sizes in a focused, lightweight package: two small-area dressings (4"×4") for hands and localized burns, two elongated dressings (4"×16") for forearms and feet, and one large-area dressing (8.5"×11") for torso or thigh coverage. This three-size combination addresses the vast majority of common minor-to-moderate burn presentations encountered in pre-hospital, workplace, and community settings.
Each included dressing uses the same award-winning BurnTec® stable-sheeting hydrogel technology as the full kit: a cross-linked polymer matrix of polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyethylene glycol, and agar, reinforced with medical-quality non-woven fabric. The gel stays over the wound surface without dripping, provides up to 24 hours of cooling pain relief, traps wound secretion and bacteria within the matrix, and is impermeable to external bacterial contamination — all while being biocompatible, hypoallergenic, and non-adherent for painless removal.
The MINOR kit's compact profile (14"×8.5"×2.5", 3.1 lbs) makes it well suited for EMS jump bags, workplace first aid stations with moderate burn risk, school and university athletic programs, and vehicle kits where the full-size kit would be disproportionate to the likely risk.
