Product Overview

The Chase Tactical LVPC-ELITE Active Shooter Kit is purpose-built for law enforcement, plainclothes operators, security professionals, and first responders who need rapid-deployment, low-profile ballistic protection for active threat scenarios. The kit combines the LVPC-E carrier — one of Chase Tactical's most concealable and functionally complete low-visibility plate carriers — with two Chase Tactical SA3100 Level IIIA 10"×12" soft armor panels, certified to NIJ 0101.06 Level IIIA against handgun threats up to .44 Magnum and .357 SIG.

The LVPC-E is built specifically for the "low visibility" operational category — carriers that can be donned quickly, worn discreetly under outer garments or over minimal clothing, and which do not present the obvious tactical profile of a full plate carrier system. At approximately 1.8 lbs empty and 3.5 lbs with both Level IIIA panels, the complete system weighs less than a loaded service pistol in its holster. This weight efficiency is critical for patrol officers who may need to don the carrier from a vehicle trunk during an active shooter response, or for security professionals who wear it all day under a suit jacket.

Chase Tactical sources materials from U.S. Mil-Spec suppliers throughout the LVPC-E construction. The double-layer elastic sides allow the carrier to flex with the wearer during dynamic movement without creating painful compression points. Low I.R. signature fabrics — treated at source — reduce the carrier's thermal signature in near-infrared imaging, maintaining low observability in environments where IR-capable optics or NVG assets may be present. The FASS (Front-Access Suspension System) with Velcro closures allows rapid donning and doffing — critical for an active shooter response where seconds matter.

Six internal pockets (three per side) provide discreet storage for magazines, tourniquets, communication devices, and other mission-critical accessories, keeping the external profile of the carrier clean and low-signature. Important: Level IIIA soft armor does not protect against rifle threats (5.56mm, 7.62mm, etc.). For rifle-rated protection, Level III or IV hard armor plates must be added. The LVPC-E carrier accepts 10"×12" hard plates in addition to soft armor panels, allowing operators to upgrade protection by adding rifle-rated hard plates when the threat environment warrants it.
