Product Overview
The Eleven 10® RIGID TQ Case for CAT – Cross Front is a specialized configuration of the proven Eleven 10® RIGID TQ Case® platform, designed for operators and officers who carry their tourniquet at the front centerline of the belt for bilateral — both-hand — access. In tactical combat casualty care training, front-center tourniquet placement is frequently recommended because it is the one body location that either hand can reach, making it the preferred position for self-application to either arm. The Cross Front case capitalizes on this positioning with a TEK-LOK attachment that orients the case horizontally across the front of the belt for intuitive cross-draw access with either hand.
Like all Eleven 10® RIGID TQ Cases, the Cross Front uses injection-molded nylon for rugged durability through patrol, tactical operations, and daily carry. The C-A-T® Gen 7 is retained by friction — no straps or covers — and deploys with a single gross-motor pull even with bloody or gloved hands. A drainage hole at the base of the case prevents water pooling. The Blade-Tech TEK-LOK attachment fits belts up to 2.25 inches wide and can be positioned and adjusted without tools.
The included PVC medical cross identifier provides high-visibility marking of the tourniquet location — critical during mass-casualty events where a bystander or fellow officer may need to locate your tourniquet quickly. At 4 oz, the Cross Front case is a minimal weight addition for a configuration that significantly expands tourniquet access options. This product is particularly valuable for users who train in Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) or Stop the Bleed protocols that emphasize self-application readiness.
Why Front-Center Carry?
- Bilateral Access: Front-center is the only belt position reachable by both the dominant and non-dominant hand — essential for self-application to either arm.
- Training Alignment: Many TCCC and TECC training curricula recommend front-center tourniquet placement for exactly this reason.
- Partner Access: A bystander or teammate assisting you can immediately locate and access the tourniquet on the front of your body.
- Vehicle Operations: Front-center placement remains accessible when seated in a vehicle, where side-mounted TQ cases may be pinned against the seat or door.
