Product Overview
The MARCH™ Battle Wrap® is a compression adjunct — not a standalone dressing — designed to be applied over an existing wound dressing, hemostatic agent, or wound packing to amplify and sustain compression force. Its clear, self-adhering elastic material bonds to itself and to skin without clips, bars, or hook-and-loop closures, and builds progressive compression with each wrapping pass. The 6-foot length provides enough material for multiple secure passes over large wound sites, splints, or combined dressing-and-wrap constructs.
The Battle Wrap's key differentiator from standard elastic bandages (ACE wraps, Esmark) is its tested mechanical performance: 5,000 psi tensile strength and 550% elongation at break. These values substantially exceed standard elastic cohesive bandages, meaning the Battle Wrap resists delamination and shredding even under heavy use and in environments with moisture, blood, and contamination. The material does not shred or delaminate — it maintains its structural integrity throughout the entire application period.
The transparent design allows visual monitoring of wound status, bleed-through from underlying dressings, and limb perfusion indicators (color, swelling) through the applied wrap — without removing the dressing. When used in conjunction with a hemostatic agent, the Battle Wrap's ability to maintain sustained circumferential pressure directly supports the hemostatic mechanism by keeping the dressing firmly against the wound surface throughout clot formation. The medical-grade adhesive is non-irritating and leaves no residue on skin upon removal, making dressing changes cleaner and less traumatic.
