OLAES Modular Trauma Dressing
One bandage that carries four tools: an elastic pressure wrap, 3 meters of sterile packing gauze folded inside it, a plastic occlusive sheet for an improvised chest seal, and a removable transparent pressure cup that doubles as a rigid eye shield. No hooks and no clips — it applies on gross motor movement alone, with cold, gloved or shaking hands. Offered in 4-inch, flat-packed 4-inch and 6-inch widths.
Four functions, one dressing3 m packing gauze inside48 in. ± 2 in. open lengthLatex-free · 6-year shelf life

Four separate items is four things to drop. Consolidation is not a convenience feature on a bandage — it is a failure-mode reduction.

What's Included

A single-component dressing, not a kit. Three size options are offered and each ships as one sealed dressing — the accordions below match the size options on this page one-for-one. Tap a section.

VIEW ▾4" Bandage — one sealed dressing · SKU OAL-4
  • 1× OLAES Modular Trauma Dressing, 4 in. wide — 48 in. ± 2 in. open length, sealed single-use package
  • Elastic wrap with hook-and-loop control strips ("brakes") that lock the wrap at intervals so it cannot unroll
  • Transparent pressure cup, built into the dressing — concentrates compression on the wound and pops out as a rigid eye shield
  • 3 meters of sterile 4-ply gauze, zig-zag packed inside the dressing so it feeds out for wound packing without tangling
  • Plastic occlusive sheet, stored in the dressing, for use as an improvised seal over a penetrating chest wound
  • Latex-free. Packaged weight 3 oz. No hooks and no clips anywhere on the dressing.
VIEW ▾4" Flat-Packed — one sealed dressing · SKU OALFP-4
  • 1× OLAES Modular Trauma Dressing, 4 in. wide, supplied flat-packed — 48 in. ± 2 in. open length, sealed single-use package
  • Same four functions as the 4" Bandage: elastic wrap with hook-and-loop brakes, transparent pressure cup / eye shield, 3 m of sterile 4-ply gauze, and a plastic occlusive sheet
  • The flat-packed format changes the shape of the package for slim pouches and flat carriers; the dressing itself is unchanged
  • Latex-free. No hooks and no clips.
VIEW ▾6" Bandage — one sealed dressing · SKU OAL-6
  • 1× OLAES Modular Trauma Dressing, 6 in. wide — 48 in. ± 2 in. open length, sealed single-use package
  • Same four functions as the 4" sizes: elastic wrap with hook-and-loop brakes, transparent pressure cup / eye shield, 3 m of sterile 4-ply gauze, and a plastic occlusive sheet
  • The wider 6 in. wrap spreads the wrap surface for larger wounds and larger limb or torso circumferences
  • Latex-free. Packaged weight 3.7 oz. No hooks and no clips.

Sizes, SKUs, weights, open length, shelf life and patent numbers are as published by Tactical Medical Solutions. The occlusive sheet is described by the manufacturer as an improvised chest seal; it is not a substitute for a dedicated vented chest seal. Wound packing and dressing application are trained skills — this listing describes a device, not a protocol.

Who Carries It

Combat and SOF medics carrying one dressing that covers a limb bleed, a wound that needs packing, a penetrating chest wound and an eye injury · Law enforcement and SWAT building an active-threat kit where pouch volume is the binding constraint · EMS and tactical EMS wanting pressure, packing gauze, an occlusive layer and an eye shield in a single pull · Prepared civilians and IFAK builders anchoring a minimal kit around one high-capability bandage.

Applying a pressure dressing, packing a wound and managing a penetrating chest or eye injury are trained skills governed by your scope of practice and local protocol. Carry the OLAES within that scope; this page describes what is in the package and what the manufacturer states about it, and is not a substitute for accredited training.
