The Adaptive First Aid Kit was designed by Tactical Medical Solutions to give an individual operator a complete, immediately deployable trauma loadout that fits inside the physical constraints of worn kit. At 6.5″H × 4.5″W × 3″D it occupies roughly the same real estate as a large magazine pouch, yet carries supplies addressing the leading preventable causes of trauma death: extremity hemorrhage, open chest injury, and airway obstruction.
The Tourniquet Strap System is a TacMed retention feature that keeps the SOF Tourniquet secured to the pouch exterior for one-handed access while the main compartment stays sealed. The OLAES Modular Bandage is among the most versatile trauma dressings available, serving as a pressure dressing, a wound-packing device, and an improvised occlusive cover via its built-in plastic film. The Beacon Chest Seal provides a dedicated chest-seal option for open thoracic wounds.
The optional QuikClot hemostatic upgrade adds CoTCCC-recommended hemostatic wound-packing capability for deep or junctional wounds where a tourniquet cannot be applied. For departments or units standardizing on a single kit, the AFAK is offered in Black, Olive Drab, Coyote Tan, and Multicam to match unit coloration.
