Product Overview

The Modular Medic Combat Pack 18 (MMCP18) is the company's purpose-built tactical medical backpack — an 18-liter volume that hits the sweet spot between a small IFAK pouch and a full medic pack, providing full first responder capability without the bulk of a larger system.
The CORDURA® 500D shell provides exceptional abrasion and tear resistance — the same fabric that appears in U.S. military load-bearing equipment and premium tactical packs worldwide. The removable Tegris® composite panels are the pack's unique structural innovation: Tegris® is a thermoplastic composite (12 layers of self-reinforced polypropylene) that delivers very high impact resistance and rigidity at extremely low weight — stiffer than nylon alone but dramatically lighter than aluminum or steel panel inserts. These panels give the medic a stable work surface that holds its shape when the pack is laid flat beside the patient.
The full circumferential zipper opening — which unzips completely around the pack's perimeter and opens to the side — is the feature that defines the MMCP18's operational character. The open pack lays flat and presents all interior contents simultaneously, with loops to hang the pack horizontally when open. Color-coded transparent pouches with glow-in-the-dark inserts and hook-and-loop Velcro mounting allow the medic to organize contents by treatment system and locate them visually even in low-light environments. The lateral tourniquet attachment loops on both sides provide immediate-access tourniquet staging without opening the main compartment.
MMCP18 vs. Larger Medic Packs
At 18 liters, the MMCP18 occupies a specific niche: large enough for a complete combat medic first responder kit, small enough to carry on operations without hindering mobility. Larger packs (30–45L) are appropriate for fixed-position medical posts or vehicle-mounted systems. The MMCP18 is the preferred choice for dismounted patrol medics, special operations medical sergeants (18D, SARC, PJ), and law enforcement tactical medics who need comprehensive capability at their side without a large pack profile.
