PRODUCT INFORMATION
6:8 Medical Solutions · Junctional Pressure Bandage
The HEMGUARD® Targeted Pressure Bandage
A pressure bandage built for the wound sites where wrapping all the way around is either impossible or dangerous — neck, axilla, groin and amputation stumps. It anchors in up to four directions, applies leveraged compression in two, and concentrates force through a targeted pressure head instead of squeezing the whole circumference. 4 in. And 6 in. widths, latex-free, five-year shelf life.
Junctional and stump sites4-way anchoringPopp Point Pressure™ headLatex-free · 5-year shelf life

An elastic bandage works on a limb because you can wrap all the way round. On a neck you cannot, and on a groin you should not — that is the gap this fills.

What's Included

One bandage per package, in the width you select. The device is the same in both widths — only the bandage width changes. Tap a size.

FDA listed is not the same thing as FDA cleared; 'FDA listed' and that is what is reproduced here. Where to apply pressure, how much, for how long, and when to escalate to packing or a junctional tourniquet are clinical decisions governed by your training and protocol.

▾Who Carries It

Tactical and combat medics carrying an answer for junctional bleeding that a limb tourniquet cannot reach · Law enforcement and SWAT medics working penetrating neck and axillary wounds · EMS and rescue providers holding pressure through an extended extrication or transport where a provider's hands are needed elsewhere · Prolonged field care teams managing rebleed risk over hours rather than minutes.

Scope of practice. Junctional hemorrhage control is a trained intervention. This bandage is a pressure device, not a substitute for wound packing, a hemostatic agent, a junctional tourniquet or surgical control, and it does not decide when any of those are indicated. Follow your training, your protocol and your medical direction.
