Product Overview

The Elite Bags Tactical Rescue Backpack brings the proven PARAMED design philosophy to a non-reflective, patch-free exterior built for military, tactical EMS, and wildland medical operations. Where conventional paramedic bags prioritize visibility, this pack prioritizes operational discretion without sacrificing the organizational excellence that makes Elite Bags a preferred brand among professional pre-hospital providers worldwide.

The 1000D polyamide shell is constructed for sustained field use — resistant to abrasion, tearing, and moisture penetration under operational loads. Three internal module packs, each with a clear-lid window, enable visual inventory assessment without unpacking. Each module mounts via Velcro backing, allowing rapid removal and hand-off to a second provider or to a medic positioning inside a vehicle. This pull-out center panel approach reduces time-to-first-intervention by eliminating the fumbling that occurs when digging through a single-cavity bag in the dark or under stress.

MOLLE webbing on the faces and sides allows attachment of supplemental pouches — tourniquet holders, chest seal pouches, or airway management rolls — expanding the kit's capability without increasing internal volume use. The integrated O₂ cylinder compatibility (tie-down space plus hose pass-through port) makes the pack suitable for ALS-configured teams carrying supplemental oxygen. Bottom straps accommodate a blanket or litter roll for extended casualty care operations.

Organizational Capability

A well-organized medical pack saves lives by reducing time spent searching for the right tool. The PARAMED layout used in this backpack is designed around the most commonly accessed trauma interventions. Typical configuration for a tactical ALS loadout:

  • Airway/BLS module: BVM, OPA/NPA set, suction disposables
  • Bleeding/trauma module: Tourniquets, hemostatic gauze, pressure dressings, chest seals
  • Diagnostics/meds module: BP cuff, stethoscope, pulse oximeter, glucometer, medication ampoule organizer
  • MOLLE exterior: Quick-access tourniquet holder, supplemental IFAK, radio pouch

Color Variants

Coyote Tan — MB10.135: Ships with coyote-colored internal modules. Ideal for arid and desert operational environments, and compatible with most coyote/FDE MOLLE systems.
Olive Drab — MB10.134: Ships with olive-colored internal modules. Standard for temperate and jungle environments and aligns with OD MOLLE equipment configurations.

CLINICAL RATIONALE

Evidence & Training Rationale

  • Clear-view compartments reduce search time—transparent lids and color coding support rapid item identification under stress and low light.
  • Modular layout supports role-based packing—swap pouches as missions change without rebuilding the whole bag.
  • Hydration & O2 options—on-pack carriage keeps hands free during long approaches and evac.
  • Weather resilience—integrated rain cover protects contents during downpours and decon spray-downs.

Pack by treatment sequence (MARCH/primary survey): bleed control and airway tools to the first-open panel; diagnostics/meds on the pull-out insert; bulk dressings and splints to main cavity; litter/blanket on bottom straps. Rehearse blind retrieval of tourniquet, chest seal, and airway adjuncts using the clear-pouch system.
