Product Overview
The SIMBODIES EMS Man is the full-body expression of the same design philosophy behind the EMS-T Torso Trainer: if you train on a realistic patient analog, you build skills that transfer to real patients. At 6 feet tall and 77 lbs with flexible limbs and a human hair wig, the EMS Man creates a training environment that produces genuine stress inoculation — trainees respond to the manikin with the same cognitive activation they bring to real casualties, because the patient presentation looks, weighs, and feels like a real person. The partially-open eyes, realistic skin texture, and human hair amplify the psychological authenticity that drives effective scenario-based medical training.
The flexible limbs enable realistic positioning: the manikin can be placed in a supine trauma position, slumped in a vehicle seat, prone on the ground, or partially seated in an evacuation litter — all the positions a responder must work around in real casualty situations. Limbs can be manually repositioned to simulate patient movement, guarding, or resistance, adding training fidelity that rigid manikins with fixed joints cannot replicate. The amputation sleeves allow attachment of limb-loss simulation for amputation and hemorrhage-control scenarios.
The ventilatable lungs enable BVM, ETT intubation, and airway management training with actual lung inflation feedback — the clinical endpoint that confirms correct endotracheal tube placement. The cadaver-casted airway ensures that the anatomical path to the carina is accurate. Simulated bleeding capability, combined with the anatomically accurate limb structure, supports tourniquet application, IV access, and hemorrhage control training on a full-body platform. For military TCCC courses, TEMS training programs, and paramedic education, the EMS Man provides the highest-fidelity training environment available without access to a clinical simulation lab.
