Product Overview

The StatPacks G3+ IV Cell is a precision-designed pack module dedicated entirely to the organization and protection of intravenous therapy supplies. Rather than mixing IV catheters, drip sets, IV bags, and needles throughout a general EMS bag compartment, the IV Cell consolidates the complete IV therapy kit in a single, semi-rigid, foam-protected, pre-staged unit that inserts into any G3+ or G4 StatPacks bag — or most standard EMS jump bags — and is retrievable as a complete system in one motion.

The semi-rigid foam-molded construction is the core engineering advantage: unlike soft fabric pouches that collapse and shift, the foam-molded frame maintains a fixed internal organization regardless of bag positioning, movement, or impact. IV bags, drip sets, catheters, and needles remain in their designated positions through every vehicle response, patient approach, and scene movement. This structural consistency means providers can locate any IV supply by muscle memory — critical during the time-compressed cognitive environment of ALS patient care.

The full-length zipper opening with large silicone rings lays the lid completely flat, exposing the entire interior simultaneously. Multiple internal compartments organize drip sets, IV bags (500–1000 mL), catheter sizes (14G–22G), and IV start kits in dedicated positions. The clear mesh window on the side allows IV bag solution identification — normal saline, lactated Ringer's, D5W — without opening the cell, enabling the correct fluid to be confirmed before initiation. The hot/cold pack pockets allow fluid temperature management for warming hypothermia patients or cooling medications sensitive to heat degradation.

Pressure Bag Capability

One of the IV Cell's most clinically valuable features is its ability to double as a pressure bag for rapid fluid infusion. The foam-molded rigid frame provides the structural support required to apply manual pressure to an IV bag inserted in the cell, allowing providers to achieve pressure-driven infusion rates significantly exceeding gravity flow — critical during hemorrhagic shock management where rapid volume resuscitation is required. A designated area within the cell accommodates a standard pressure gauge for controlled-pressure infusion monitoring.

Integrate into the StatPacks G3+ Perfusion Backpack or any G3+ bag in the EMS Bags & Backpacks collection. Complement with hemorrhage control supplies for complete vascular access staging.
