Does the TacMed Vascular Access Kit include IV fluids?
No. The TacMed™ Vascular Access Kit provides all components for catheter placement and IV administration except the IV fluid bag itself. The fluid (e.g., 0.9% NaCl, Lactated Ringer's, or Hextend) must be sourced separately from your medical kit or supply stock. This design keeps the kit compact and avoids including the heaviest component (a fluid bag) in a kit that is often carried as part of a standard load.
