The Tourniquet RAP Carrier Kit is a MED-TAC International-assembled bundle that pairs the CoTCCC-recommended Tactical Mechanical Tourniquet with its most important accessory — the TQ-RAM™ — in a purpose-built rapid access carrier. The combination creates a comprehensive single-pouch tourniquet system that addresses both extremity arterial hemorrhage (via the TMT's 2" windlass band) and wound packing pressure maintenance (via the TQ-RAM's dome-shaped point pressure device).
The TMT RAP Carrier's quick-pull design is engineered for deployment under full cold-weather gear or heavy gloves — a critical operational requirement in northern and arctic environments where hand dexterity is compromised. The MOLLE weave backing attaches directly to plate carrier side panels, aid bag exteriors, chest rigs, or belt-mounted PALS sections without additional hardware. At 3" × 6" × 2.5", the carrier fits on any MOLLE platform with minimal footprint while keeping the TMT and TQ-RAM staged in a consistent ready-to-deploy configuration.
