Product Overview
The Combat Life Saver (CLS) program trains non-medical military personnel to perform advanced first aid in combat — including tourniquet application, wound packing, airway management, and needle decompression. After treating casualties in the field, CLS kits are rapidly depleted. The NAR Army CLS Resupply Kit exists to solve that problem: a standardized, complete resupply that meets U.S. Army CLS doctrine requirements, packaged in a compact, resealable bag for rapid restocking at the unit level.
The kit is offered in two hemostatic variants — Combat Gauze® (Z-Fold, kaolin-based, CoTCCC-recommended) or ChitoGauze XR PRO (chitosan-based) — allowing units to standardize on their preferred hemostatic agent. Both are CoTCCC-recommended dressings for wound packing in cases of severe extremity and junctional hemorrhage.
Beyond hemorrhage control, the CLS Resupply Kit addresses all three leading causes of preventable combat death: hemorrhage (C-A-T® tourniquets and hemostatic gauze), tension pneumothorax (ARS® Needle Decompression Kits and HyFin® Chest Seals), and airway compromise (Nasopharyngeal Airway with lubricant). Hypothermia prevention is addressed via Ready Heat Blanket and foil survival blanket.
