The Blizzard IFAK Blanket addresses the thermal component of this triad directly at the point of injury. Powered by Reflexcell™ technology, the blanket's unique elastic-reinforced air-channel construction creates a multi-layer insulating envelope that traps body heat far more effectively than standard mylar emergency blankets.

With a TOG 5 warmth rating — a standard measure of thermal resistance used in clinical textiles — the Blizzard IFAK provides meaningful insulation even in wet, windy, or cold environments. The metallized inner layer reflects radiated heat back to the patient while the windproof and waterproof exterior blocks convective heat loss. 4. The elastic-reinforced channels will conform around the patient's shape, reducing air gaps.
5. Tuck or secure edges to minimize wind intrusion, especially in exposed environments.
6. Continue hemorrhage control and other TCCC interventions — the blanket does not impede access.
