The G3 Plus is available in both fully automatic (9390A) and semi-automatic (9390E) versions. The automatic model delivers defibrillation without requiring the rescuer to press a shock button — the device analyzes the rhythm, determines shockability, and delivers therapy automatically. The semi-automatic model advises the rescuer and prompts shock delivery with a button press, providing an additional confirmation step preferred in some institutional protocols. Both versions provide identical clinical therapy; the choice is one of operational preference.
Rescue Ready® technology performs continuous self-testing of all critical components — battery, hardware, software, and pads — daily. A partial high-voltage charge is completed weekly and a full charge cycle monthly, ensuring the capacitor remains calibrated and the device will perform when needed.
