Product Overview

The North American Rescue Dental Emergency Kit provides the items necessary to perform temporary management of the most common field dental problems: toothaches, broken or cracked teeth, lost fillings, broken crowns, and post-extraction bleeding. It bridges the gap between onset of the dental emergency and access to a dentist.

Dentemp temporary filling material allows re-cementation of lost fillings or broken crowns, while 20% benzocaine gel provides topical pain relief for soft tissue irritation and minor oral procedures. Clove oil (eugenol) is a time-tested dental analgesic and antimicrobial agent useful for dry socket pain relief. The inclusion of ActCel hemostatic gauze addresses post-extraction or laceration bleeding — a critical capability in environments without dental surgical resources. Black Talon nitrile gloves and a biohazard bag ensure proper infection control throughout the exam and treatment process.

At 6 oz and roughly the size of a deck of cards, this kit fits easily into any IFAK, aid bag, ship's medical locker, or expedition pack.
