The NAR Gecko Grip Multi-Purpose Flat Medical Tape contains 90 inches of 2-inch-wide T-REX® Gecko Grip high-strength tape in a compact flat-pack format — six pre-cut 2" × 15" strips in a vacuum-sealed resealable poly bag. Product Overview
Medical tape has traditionally meant silk tape for skin adhesion — gentle enough for wound care but not particularly strong on gear, equipment, or rough surfaces. The NAR Gecko Grip Multi-Purpose Flat Tape takes a different approach: T-REX® Gecko Grip is a high-strength, all-weather tape formulation that delivers holding power well beyond standard medical tape grades. This makes it ideal for Outdoor and Adventure IFAKs, vehicle kits, and military loadouts where tape may need to secure equipment, improvised splints, or gear repairs in addition to standard medical applications.
Like the NAR 2" Flat Medical Tape, the Gecko Grip uses the same proven flat-pack format: six strips, each 2" × 15", tri-folded and lightly vacuum-sealed into a resealable clear poly bag measuring just 0.34 inches thick. The six-strip format provides equivalent storage efficiency to the silk tape version while delivering a fundamentally different adhesive performance profile. The T-REX® formulation maintains strong adhesion in wet, cold, and dusty conditions where silk tape may fail.
The 6-Pack Roll variant (80-0131) provides six individual flat units packaged together — suitable for unit-level bulk purchasing, vehicle medical kit builds, or pre-positioning multiple kits simultaneously. Each unit within the 6-pack is individually sealed and identically sized to the single flat unit.
