The Advanced build includes CoTCCC-recommended QuikClot Combat Gauze — the same hemostatic used in human TCCC protocols — for units that standardize hemostatic agents across both kits.

What is the difference between Celox and CoTCCC-recommended Combat Gauze builds?

Celox (chitosan) and QuikClot Combat Gauze are both effective hemostatic agents. Celox is effective in canine patients and is the standard in Basic builds. Combat Gauze is CoTCCC-recommended for human use and is chosen for Advanced builds by units that want one hemostatic agent across human and canine kits.
