Product Overview
The MED-TAC Mini O2 Regulator is the interface between a portable medical oxygen cylinder and the patient's oxygen delivery device. Without a regulator, the raw output from a medical oxygen cylinder cannot be safely used for patient care — the regulator reduces high cylinder pressure to a clinically safe, adjustable flow rate. The CGA870 fitting is the standard for portable medical oxygen cylinders in the U.S., making this regulator compatible with Size D, E, and other portable cylinder formats that use the CGA870 post valve.
The 0–15 LPM adjustable flow range covers all clinical oxygen delivery applications: 1–6 LPM for nasal cannula, 6–10 LPM for simple face mask, and 10–15 LPM for non-rebreather mask or BVM reservoir bag inflation. The included cylinder wrench allows proper valve opening and closing without a separate tool, which is important in field environments where additional tools may not be available.
