The NAR-4 Chest Pouch was engineered specifically to meet these requirements in a single chest-mounted platform.
Built on 500D CORDURA® solution-dyed nylon with Near Infrared Signature Reduction and GhillieTex™ IR hardware, the NAR-4 addresses the IR detection threat that makes conventional pouches liabilities in night-operation environments. The silent self-repairing zipper with 550 cord pulls ensures that opening the kit under stress produces no audible signature. Sand and water-resistant zipper construction keeps supplies protected in austere environments.
The configurable interior uses elastic storage loops to keep items secure yet rapidly accessible—critical when a provider is working under fire and cannot search for components. The ambidextrous trauma shear configuration accommodates both right- and left-handed providers. The MOLLE-style attachment system allows the pouch to be mounted on body armor in multiple positions. The kit contents span the primary TCCC interventions: massive hemorrhage control (tourniquet, hemostatic gauze, ETD), airway management (NPA), respiratory support (chest seal, needle decompression kit), and advanced airway (Tactical CricKit®).
