The kit addresses the Massive Hemorrhage phase of MARCH with the three essential tools: a tourniquet for extremity hemorrhage, a 4-inch trauma dressing for pressure application, and gauze for wound packing. The Combat Gauze variant upgrades the plain gauze to CoTCCC-recommended Combat Gauze® LE — providing hemostatic capability for wounds that cannot be completely controlled with pressure alone.
