Product Overview

Maritime trauma response requires equipment specifically engineered for the challenges of afloat environments: saltwater exposure, humidity, vessel motion, and the need for anti-pilferage accountability on shared vessels. The NAR Naval Boat Response Aid Kit was developed in direct response to U.S. Navy requirements for standardized trauma response capability on combatant and support vessels, and has been adopted across U.S. Naval Ships, Military Sealift Command ships, and commercial maritime operators.

The watertight yellow hard case protects contents from saltwater intrusion and humidity while the high-visibility color ensures the kit can be quickly located in emergencies. The five-pouch internal organization — four for specific treatment categories (Bleed, ABD/Burn, Splint, Eye) plus one utility pouch mounted in the lid — allows first responders to quickly identify and access the correct category of supplies without searching through a mixed kit. Pouches attach via hook-and-loop for easy removal at point of care.

Two C-A-T® tourniquets, HyFin® Vent Chest Seal, ARS Needle Decompression, nasopharyngeal airway, and SAM® Splint address the major trauma categories encountered on vessels, while a burn dressing, cervical collar, eye shield, and CPR mask extend the kit's capabilities to the full range of maritime injury patterns.
