The RTS Tactical SWAT Ballistic Shield with Viewport is the viewport-equipped variant of the RTS Active Shooter SWAT line, featuring a 4" × 10" integrated ballistic viewport that provides a clear, unobstructed field of view for observation and target acquisition while the operator remains in full coverage behind the shield. The viewport dimensions — 4" tall by 10" wide — provide sufficient horizontal visibility for corridor scanning and room entry assessment while keeping the viewport small enough to minimize the structural impact on the shield's ballistic integrity.

The heavy-duty triangle ambidextrous handle design on this shield variant is distinct from simple horizontal grip handles: the triangular grip provides a more ergonomic hold for sustained carry, allowing the operator's wrist to adopt a more natural position during extended operations. Ambidextrous configuration means right-handed and left-handed operators can use the same shield without configuration changes — important for team deployments where shields may be shared or passed between operators.
