Application: CLICK, TWIST, SECURE

1. CLICK: Route the strap through the TRUFORCE™ Buckle; pull to tighten around the limb 2–3 inches above the wound. The buckle audibly clicks and locks when proper circumferential force is achieved.
2. TWIST: Rotate the aluminum windlass rod until bleeding is controlled. The TRUFLEX™ Plate distributes force evenly — fewer turns are required compared to traditional designs.
3. SECURE: Fold the windlass into the retention clip and secure the Time Band over it. Record time of application on the white Time Band.
4. Monitor the casualty; check for distal pulse cessation to confirm complete occlusion.

Both the SAM XT and the C-A-T® Gen 7 hold full CoTCCC recommendation.
