Multicam® is a licensed pattern owned and developed by Crye Precision. Any manufacturer using the Multicam® name or pattern must hold a valid Crye Precision license. SK7 USA (707 Tactical Gear™) produces the EON R line in Multicam® as a licensed product. This ensures the pattern meets Crye Precision's color and print quality standards.

What environments is Multicam® best suited for?

Multicam® was specifically designed for multi-environment effectiveness — one pattern that performs across temperate woodlands, arid terrain, transitional environments, and urban settings. Its gradient color layering technique prevents the visual "blob" effect seen in single-color or geometric patterns at intermediate distances. It was selected by the U.S. Army as the OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern) precisely because its multi-environment performance outperformed single-environment patterns in objective testing.

How does the ventilation system in the EON R pant work?

The EON R Tactical Pant features an internal ventilation system that creates air circulation channels between the fabric layers, reducing heat buildup in the seat and inner thigh areas — the highest heat accumulation zones during extended wear under body armor or plate carriers. This passive ventilation approach keeps the wearer cooler during high-activity periods without adding weight or requiring active cooling mechanisms.

What is the stretch back rise and why does it matter for tactical use?

The stretch back rise is a panel of stretch fabric incorporated into the back waistband and upper seat area that expands during movement — kneeling, crouching, squatting, and high stepping — then returns to its original shape. This prevents the waistband from digging in or restricting movement during dynamic positions, and eliminates the "pulling down" effect that occurs with non-stretch back-rise trousers when a shooter moves to the kneeling or prone position under load.

Can these pants accommodate a tourniquet in the cargo pocket?

Yes. The cargo pockets on the SK7 EON R are sized to accommodate standard-width items including a C-A-T® Gen 7 tourniquet or SAM XT Extremity Tourniquet in staged configuration. The internal sub-pocket design allows a tourniquet to be stored separately from other cargo pocket items, enabling quick access without emptying the main cargo compartment. Some operators run a dedicated leg tourniquet holder on the outside of the thigh for faster access; the EON R's six 1" × 3" belt loops also accept tactical leg strap systems.
