At just 2 oz, it is one of the lightest complete IV access and administration kits available for field use.

The inclusion of a 15 drip/mL administration set means providers can begin fluid resuscitation (normal saline, lactated Ringer's, or Hextend) immediately upon catheter placement and fluid bag availability. The Linebacker IV securing device and Tegaderm dressing provide dual-mechanism catheter retention. The two catheter supply ensures a backup is immediately available if the first attempt fails or the catheter becomes contaminated.
