A dedicated backpack-style transport system for the NAR Talon® and compatible quad-fold litters — engineered to move a loaded litter to the TACEVAC point with maximum balance, minimum weight penalty, and no loss of mobility. Built from 500D CORDURA® solution-dyed nylon with Ghillie-Tex® near-infrared signature reduction. Litter sold separately; Black, Tan, Olive Drab.

How does a medic carry a litter on target without losing mobility?

The Talon II Carrier puts the litter on the medic's back. It accommodates all NAR quad-fold platforms — Talon®, T3, and Medevac — in a single design with no litter-specific inserts, transitioning from compact collapsed carry to expanded litter transport. Solution-dyed 500D CORDURA® gives extreme abrasion resistance; Ghillie-Tex® IR-reduction hardware minimizes thermal and near-infrared detection where signature management is mission-critical. Thin back-plates keep the loaded profile low for movement under fire and confined-space work; non-slip adjustable shoulder straps hold position under dynamic carry; a drain hole sheds water during wet or amphibious ops; and MOLLE-style exterior webbing turns the carrier into a modular load platform. A top handle adds single-hand grab-and-go, team handoff, or vehicle stowage. At 1 lb 7.3 oz, the carrier is a minimal premium against organic litter capability.

Which litters is the Talon II Assault Litter Carrier designed for?

The Talon II Assault Litter Carrier is specifically designed for the North American Rescue Talon® quad-fold litter and is compatible with other NAR quad-fold litter formats. It is not a universal litter carrier — verify compatibility with non-NAR litters before procurement.

What does the drain hole do?

The drain hole in the Talon II Carrier prevents water from accumulating inside the carrier during river crossings, rain operations, or wet environments. Water trapped in a litter carrier adds significant weight — particularly relevant when carrying an already heavy loaded litter over distance. The drain hole maintains the carrier's intended weight profile regardless of environmental conditions.

Can the Talon II Carrier carry additional medical kit?

Yes. MOLLE-style equipment attachment points on the exterior of the carrier allow additional medical pouches, IFAKs, or mission-specific kit to be mounted when the litter is in use or separated from the carrier. This enables the carrier to serve as a supplementary equipment transport platform during the movement phase of an operation.
