C.F.O. stands for Complete Foldout — a deployment system developed by Voodoo Tactical that allows the medical pack to unfold fully, exposing all supplies across organized panels simultaneously. This eliminates the need to search through compartments under stress, placing tourniquets, bandages, sutures, surgical instruments, and wound management supplies immediately visible and accessible. Voodoo Tactical designed the C.F.O. system as the first of its kind in the field med-pack category, specifically to address the time cost of retrieving supplies in high-pressure casualty scenarios.

Does this kit include surgical instruments?

Yes. The Valor Standard C.F.O. kit includes a full surgical instrument panel: a #3 scalpel handle with two scalpel blades, three sutures, 5 in. straight forceps, 5 in. curved forceps, 3.5 in. stitch scissors, 3.5 in. splinter tweezers, 6 in. wound probe, and a pupil flashlight. These instruments enable trained medics or combat lifesavers to perform wound exploration, foreign body removal, laceration closure, and patient neurological assessment. Use of surgical instruments requires appropriate training and authorization under applicable scope-of-practice guidelines.

Is the Valor C.F.O. pack MOLLE compatible?

Yes. The pack features precision laser die-cut MOLLE on the front, back, and both sides, providing attachment points for additional pouches, tools, or mounting to plate carriers, vest systems, or vehicle racks. Carabiner loops allow rapid clip-on attachment to packs, gear, doors, or frames. The pack also includes an ambidextrous padded sling strap for standalone carry, and an integrated glove and shear pouch on the exterior for immediate-access PPE without opening the main pack.

Who is the intended user for the Valor Standard C.F.O. Medical Pack?

The pack is intended for trained medical responders, tactical operators, law enforcement personnel, military personnel, combat lifesavers, and prepared outdoor professionals who may need to manage trauma injuries in field conditions with limited or delayed EMS support. The included surgical instruments require appropriate training and scope-of-practice qualification. The pack's general wound care, burn care, bandaging, and antiseptic supplies are accessible to any trained first aid responder, while the advanced instrument panel is designed for personnel with higher-level medical skills.

What trauma hemorrhage control supplies are included?

The kit includes one trauma bandage for primary wound compression management, four ABD sterile pads (5×9 in.) for large wound coverage, a gauze roll, gauze sponges, butterfly bandages for skin closure, wound closure (sutures), and extensive antiseptic supplies including 12 alcohol prep pads, 12 povidone-iodine prep pads, and 3 BZK antiseptic wipes. Note that this kit does not include a standalone tourniquet — operators who need tourniquet coverage should supplement with a CoTCCC-recommended tourniquet from the MED-TAC Tourniquets & Pouches collection.
