The Vanquest FATPack-Pro Medical Backpack LARGE is a 15×10×5.5-inch convertible sling/backpack medical pack made from 500-D Mil-grade Cordura® with DWR coating. Features dual #10 YKK lockable zippers, rear MOLLE/PALS for plate carrier attachment, dual trauma shear sheaths, front zippered pocket with loop ID panel, side MOLLE elastic slots, and removable organization panels (LA01 and LB01). Product Overview
The Vanquest FATPack-Pro Medical Backpack LARGE is the larger-format expression of Vanquest's FATPack-Pro design philosophy: a convertible sling-to-backpack system engineered specifically for trauma-based medicine, mass casualty response, and off-grid survival medical staging. Developed in collaboration with Urban Medical Gear, LLC, the FATPack-Pro LARGE delivers ample main compartment volume (14.5×9.75×3.5 in interior) in a platform that transitions seamlessly from a single-strap sling to a dual-shoulder backpack with removable quick-adjust straps.
The interior organization is a two-panel system: the LA01 elastic loop panel (13×6 in) provides open-face, quick-pull storage for tourniquets, chest seals, bandage rolls, and other individually accessed items; the LB01 vinyl mesh zippered pouch panel (13.5×9.5 in) provides three semi-transparent enclosed pouches (8.5×3.75×2.25 in each) for injury-specific category organization. Both panels are removable, allowing the interior to be reconfigured for different missions or staging needs. Dual layers of elastic loops over high-visibility ripstop pockets in the main compartment add additional rapid-access storage for priority items.
The front zippered pocket provides immediate access to frequently needed items, with a loop ID panel (4.5×3 in) for morale or ID patches, and two trauma shear sheaths with large red pull tabs for instant shear deployment without opening any zipper. Rear MOLLE/PALS webbing allows the pack to mount directly to plate carriers or chest rigs — eliminating the need for a separate backpack when integrated into a body armor system. Side MOLLE and elastic slots provide external staging for additional tourniquets, pouches, or quick-access supplies. Dual #10 YKK lockable zippers provide high-cycle durability and theft/tamper deterrence.
