North American Rescue Wound Packing Gauze is a sterile, 3″ × 5-yard Z-folded cotton strip with an embedded X-ray-detectable line. The Z-fold feeds out in a continuous, controlled strip — not a spinning roll — so you can pack a penetrating cavity fast and clean, the way TCCC and austere pre-hospital care teach it.

Fill the cavity, then secure with a pressure dressing and maintain pressure. If you’re using a hemostatic, that goes in first as the deepest layer; this gauze packs over it.
