The 5.11 FLEX Tourniquet Pouch was designed for first responders, law enforcement, and tactically-minded civilians who need a versatile, lightweight tourniquet carrier compatible with virtually any gear platform. The defining feature is the FLEX-HT™ mounting system — a dual-mode attachment that ships ready-to-go without additional hardware. In vertical MOLLE mode, the molded FLEX-HT™ backer clips directly onto PALS/MOLLE webbing rows. In horizontal mode, integrated hook-and-loop straps wrap around a belt, waistband, or horizontal MOLLE row. A tuckable hook-and-loop flap on the rear provides a third attachment method: plate carrier slot attachment, which feeds into the elastic slot commonly found on modern soft armor panel carriers.
Internal elastic compression webbing creates a snug, secure environment for the folded tourniquet, preventing bounce and rattle during movement without requiring the operator to operate any closure mechanism to access it. The Hypalon® pull tab — the same material used in whitewater rescue gear for its chemical resistance and grip in wet conditions — provides a positive grip surface for one-handed extraction under stress, with gloves, or with compromised hand function. Internal webbing reinforcement prevents the elastic from over-stretching and losing retention over repeated use cycles.
At just 2.8 oz and fitting within a 6" × 2" × 1.5" envelope, the 5.11 FLEX TQ Pouch adds minimal bulk to any kit configuration.
