An IFAK is only as useful as its contents. As components are used, expire, or are consumed in training, maintaining a fully stocked kit requires a reliable resupply process. The RAMPART MARCH IFAK Resupply Kit addresses this need by providing an individual-level IFAK's core contents in a single, standardized package—designed for rapid integration into any existing MOLLE-compatible IFAK pouch and organized around the MARCH protocol used in TCCC-based care.
The kit's MARCH structure is reflected in its component selection. Massive Hemorrhage control is addressed with the TMT tourniquet, ChitoGauze XR PRO (an extended-duration chitosan hemostatic gauze), compressed TACgauze, Battle Bandage, and Battle Wrap. Airway management is provided by a pre-lubricated NPA in 28Fr—the standard size for adult airway management. Respiration emergencies are covered by the Russell Vented Chest Seal (for open chest wounds) and DART needle decompression kit (for tension pneumothorax). All components are vacuum-sealed in lightweight, rugged packaging designed to withstand harsh operational conditions and the compression of MOLLE pouches.
The ChitoGauze XR PRO is notably an extended-release formulation—providing sustained hemostatic action compared to standard ChitoGauze. This is particularly relevant in scenarios where extraction time may be prolonged and the wound packing must maintain efficacy during transport.
