What is the MED-TAC Non-Rebreather Mask? The MED-TAC Non-Rebreather Oxygen Mask (SKU: LX-NRB) delivers high-concentration oxygen to spontaneously breathing patients. Includes 7 ft oxygen tubing, one-way valve, and a reservoir bag that accumulates oxygen between breaths, enabling FiO2 delivery of approximately 60–80% at 10–15 LPM flow — far higher than a simple face mask or nasal cannula. Standard adult sizing. Single-use, disposable. Essential for hypoxic trauma patients requiring supplemental oxygen therapy.

Product Overview
The non-rebreather mask (NRB) is the highest-concentration oxygen delivery method available for spontaneously breathing patients outside of intubation. The one-way valve prevents exhaled gas from re-entering the reservoir, ensuring the patient inspires from the oxygen-filled reservoir bag rather than room air. At 10–15 LPM oxygen flow with a properly fitted mask, the NRB can deliver FiO2 of approximately 60–80% — appropriate for severe hypoxia, carbon monoxide poisoning, respiratory distress, and post-trauma patients requiring supplemental oxygen.
The 7 ft tubing provides sufficient length to connect to a portable oxygen cylinder (such as the MED-TAC Size D Oxygen Cylinder) while maintaining patient positioning flexibility. The reservoir bag must be inflated before applying the mask to the patient — fill the bag with oxygen flow before mask placement to prevent patient inspiration from an empty reservoir.
The NRB mask is an essential component of any oxygen therapy kit paired with a portable oxygen cylinder and regulator. For pre-hospital and tactical EMS use, pair with the Mini O2 Regulator and Size D Oxygen Cylinder for a complete portable oxygen delivery system. See MED-TAC's full airway management collection.
