The Tasmanian Tiger Base Medic Pouch represents a step up from the standard IFAK form factor — designed for first responders, combat medics, and rescue personnel who require more organizational depth and supply capacity than a personal IFAK provides. At 20 × 14 × 12 cm (8" × 5.5" × 12"), the Base Medic provides nearly five times the depth of the standard IFAK Pouch, accommodating a full-tier medical loadout while remaining attached to a MOLLE vest or pack.
The integrated exterior scissor pouch provides immediate access to trauma shears without opening the main bag — critical in time-pressured casualty care where clothing must be cut quickly. The internal mesh bag with drawcord organizes smaller items (gloves, tape, reference cards) into a contained sub-compartment that can be retrieved as a unit. Detachable hook-and-loop pockets with transparent covers allow visual identification of supplies without opening each pocket individually.
MOLLE snap-button attachment provides secure mounting to standard PALS webbing while allowing quick removal when transitioning from vest-mounted to hand-carried deployment.
